Welcome to the official website of the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, home to one of our visionary Founders, Soror Ethel Cuff Black.

Chartered by eleven dynamic women on June 4, 1951, including Soror Black, their vision and legacy have withstood the test of time. Our impact today is evident.  With over seventy-five years of excellence, we have influenced and initiated sustainable programming in public service, scholarship, sisterhood and social action pursuits within the Queens community and globally.

​

Our mission is clear and we are driven to serve.  Our members are educators, legislators, medical and legal professionals, law enforcement, clergy and artists, just to name a few.  Collectively, we engage in programming initiatives including scholarship awards, critical youth programs, and community collaborations with likeminded organizations.

​

We are committed to engage and promote Delta Sigma Theta’s Five Point Program including Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
